ATC's
I've made enough progress that I'm able to do a little bit on the computer and spend a little time on art (YAY!). The physical therapy is really helping- I'm faithfully doing exercises to strengthen my neck and shoulder muscles so that I won't have a repeat of The Neck Incident.
Before The Neck Incident whacked out my normal activities, I had started work on some ATC's (Artist Trading Cards- 3.5" x 2.5") but had not posted them. So, here they are. I like some better than others, but find doing ATC's very valuable. Gives me a chance to experiment, cover a variety of subjects, and the volume (I'll make 20 cards for this trade) gives me much-needed practice.
It's SO good to be back in blogdom! I've started visiting blogs and am enjoying catching up with y'all ("y'all" . . a most useful Southernism ;-). Thanks again for the visits and encouraging words... you guys are great!
Teresa

Teresa it is so great to have you back. I can't pick a favoutite with the ATC's because I like them all! I think I should do some ATC sized paintings to get me back into the swing of painting again. Thank you for the inspiration!
So glad to hear that you are getting some better. These are great! Looks like you are learning several WC techniques - fun!

All of these are wonderful and I sure hope you're able to do more of them!

Welcome back to blogdom - I'm glad that things are better for you now. These ATCs are perfect little gems. I particularly admire the shell with that textured background. x
Great to have you back on the raz. But take it steady, listen to your body, it knows best.

All your small paintings are just lovely, sorry to read about your neck incident, I know they can be really invalidating, but your spirit is great and you do what you have to do...keep it up!

Seems like two kinds of therapy to me—physical and art! So glad to see you peeking into Blogdom. Hope to see you around more because that will mean you're getting better.
Love those ATCs!
Hi Teresa
So pleased to hear that things are getting back to normal - your ATCs are wonderful :o)
You've given me hope ... 7 weeks ago I developed the same symptoms as you - my left arm and neck mainly due to compressed discs/trapped nerve. Unless you go through it, its impossible to describe the pain/numbness/sheer misery isn't it? I have 3 or 4 sessions of with the chiropractor and masseur each week and 'home traction' daily but am not seeing much progress ... I'm itching to get back to my art and have a couple of commission deadlines looming so .. fingers crossed I'll
follow your lead and start mending soon :o)
Not supposed to be using the computer but I've 'abstained' for 3 weeks and I'm bored!
Yay! your back! I love all of these! I think my favorites are the shell, and the Narcissus! Although I love them all, these make me think of sunshine!
Keep yourself well! we don't want you to be gone this long again!
Vicki
