(2.5 x 3.5 on gesso primed canvas paper)
I spent about an hour and a half trying out my new Artisan Oil Paints. They're made by Winsor & Newton and are water mixable. I was curious to see if the fumes bothered me, as traditional oils do. So far, no fume problems!
The subject is a Roundhouse in Cornwall, England - and it was LOTS of fun to paint! I think I'll like these paints (I'm hoping that fume problems won't develop later down the line) and plan to work with them again.
Have a good weekend!

What a sweet little picture, Teresa and what bright colours. Is there really such a house in Cornwall?
What a sweet little ATC?ACEO! Glad the fumes didn't get you. Happy weekend to you as well!
What a charming painting. Isn't technology wonderful. Hope the new paints work out for you. The results are wonderful.

This is a great little painting. That looks like a fairy house. :) I have liked the new paints very much. No odor problems here either. I like painting with them better than acrylics and they don't take months to dry. Of course I don't paint real thick. Let us know what you think.
Very bright and sweet painting!
It's fun to read about people trying out new things ... I look forward to seeing what's next!
Gosh how amazing to get all of that on such a small area! I agree with other comments, it really is very sweet.
How impressive is the flower girl all in coloured pencil. You really are very talented.
Hope your weekend was a good one, and that your MIL is now recovered.
Interesting, I have never tried these, I shall watch with interest.
Lovely colors! Hope they continue to work out for you!
More, more, more! I don't think you'll have any problems with these as far as odor is concerned unless you use some medium that smells.
This is really nice (albeit a little small!) and I think you're going to do very well with these!
Ain't it fun to play with new art stuff!!!!
Hi there! I wanted to let you know that I have used the water based oil paints from W&N for years now and I love them. The texture is the same as oils and I love the clean up ... it is so easy!
