If I haven't visited your blog lately... it's not because I didn't want to. I'm having a lot of pain in the wrists and elbows of both arms and having to limit my time on the computer since it makes it worse. I think 20 years of working on a computer is catching up with me (did I really say that? Am I that old? Yep... started working on a computer when it was still in MS DOS... anyone remember that? Yikes!) Elbow and wrist braces, along with Aleve or Ibuprofen, are helping some.
I'm still painting - short, limited sessions. Will post the results when I finish. I'm taking photos as I progress and will post the WIP's with the finished painting.
Have a great weekend.... I'll visit a few blogs at a time until I get around!

I am sorry to hear about your predicament Teresa and hope that you make a full recovery. I had repetative strain injury in my wrists years ago from being a data input clerk, where I had to do 10,000 key depressions an hour!!!
Oh gosh... I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. I can totally understand where you are coming from. I have constant pain in my arms and hands ... as a result of 30+ years working on computers. I need to wear stretchy fingerless gloves at work each day just to get by. I'd rather use my hands for art....
Take care of yourself!!
Sorry to hear you're in pain! Take care of yourself...you don't want to have to stop painting!
Poor you *hugs*
Try some fresh ginger, infused. It might help xx
Thanks for the comments on my blog! I hope you get lots of painting in this weekend! I enjoy your work.
Hope you're feeling better soon! You're missed!
p.s. Personally, I think it was all that blueberry picking!
;•)
Oh no ! Rest your limbs and let them recover in their time, Don't rush it. Allow your body the time it needs.
Healing vibes across the ether.
Today, I was thinking of dropping you a mail, was worrying if things were ok.. take care and get better soon:-)
Get well soon! A friend of mine had the same problem, large does of Vitamin B helped. I think it was B6?
Sorry I'm late ... still playing 'catch up' after our little break.
I'm so sorry to hear about your problems and hope the discomfort eases soon so you can get back to your beautiful artwork
I'm sorry you're in such pain. I think that resting your arms as much as possible will give your wrists and elbows a chance to heal. Take it easy.
Hi Teresa,
Please get well. Not for blogging, for yourself and for your art.
I am still your faithful follower :)
Take care,
Irina

Teresa I am so sorry to hear of your pain. I do hope it settles down soon. I will miss your wonderful artwork. Rest is important so you can get back to your art. LOL says me who can't stop for 5 mins.
I have the same thing in my left wrist. I think it is Carpel Tunnel with mine. I am left handed. Grrrrrrrrr All the packing and moving must have aggravated it.
I have worked on computers for many years also doing data input.
The best yrs of our lives when we have time to draw, paint and be creative, We end up with pain.
Get well soon my friend.
Take care! Be kind to yourself and take a break!
Vicki
I hope your break is very healing. Yep, I remember all those things. Life has a way of getting revenge for those who stay around too long :)
Rest up and enjoy your time away.
