I think it is, as my Mother would say, "high time" I did a blog post. I'm posting a series of two sets of ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) that I did in trades on
Drawspace. I'm a newcomer to
Drawspace, but really like the smaller number of traders and they're a great bunch!
The first set (below) was for the September trade with a theme of "Let's go to the Fair!". The second set (above) was for the October trade with a theme of anything to do with Fall.
I've also been busy knitting. Started a sweater a few weeks ago and just about finished with the body. It's knit side to side so all I have to do now is knit and seam in the sleeves. Will post a pic when it's done!
Hope you're enjoying Fall... I certainly am!
These are all so pretty! I love the holly berries at the bottom, that could be your Christmas card. I like the Shoreline painting very much! I'm glad that you enjoy learning from a DVD too. I found my seafarer DVD to be so informative and full of helpful tips. Just watching somebody paint was so valuable for me. Your water on the shore is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi Teressa. wow YOU HAVE BEEN BUSY. What beautiful ATC's Love them all.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well. xx
High time indeed, especially as this is a beautiful post, full of ATC delights. My fav is the 1st one of birch trees, but they're all lovely. x

ReplyDeleteKnitting - is it getting colder? That's when mine usually comes out :) xx
Sounds like you've been quite creatively busy! Your ATCs are beautiful, and I'll look forward to seeing the sweater. I love Fall, too, and often find my energy level rising with the cooler temps (and less humidity).
ReplyDeleteLove the first Fall painting...looks like you're having a lot of fun with these ATC's....and I'm looking forward to seeing your finished sweater. I love to crochet blankets but since I started blogging...its hard to do it all. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa, lovely to hear from you and thank you for your kind words. I must admit, I have been a bad blogger of late. Not only have I not blogged regularly, but I haven't been visiting either. Sounds like you've had a good and busy summer. Love the ATC's are they really just a couple of inches? My favourite are the birch trees. I find it incredible that you manage to get such detail on such a small scale.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you back. It looks like you have been enjoying capturing the lovely Autumn colours.
ReplyDeleteKnitting always feels right in the dark evenings, I am knitting some socks, look forward to seeing your sweater. millyx
What a delight to see all of your fall images. They really show off the season!!
ReplyDeleteThese ATC's are priceless, Teresa! I can see several of these that should be full-blown large paintings. I know what you mean about posting infrequently. I'm on the internet less and less these days, but for the good of it. I have more creative time and will eventually post online when I can. Glad you are doing the same.
ReplyDeleteWow! I'll say you've been busy, these are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how the sweater looks!
