Two more TMC's that I've uploaded to the Twenty Minute Challenge blog.
You know, I like these 20 minute challenges. No hassle, no stress... except for the last minute or two when I'm not finished and the clock continues mercilessly ticking away :-)
There's such a freedom in doing these. I keep in mind that it's the process that matters here, not the end product. This allows me to have fun and learn without feeling like the result has to be on a certain level. With TMC's success is the doing, not the end result.
You've definitely got me thinking I might try this... but I don't know if I have the personality for it! Your leaf is incredible! Love the shell too!
ReplyDeleteSweet little works of art! Spontaneity is really working for you! x
ReplyDeleteLooks as though you're enjoying the 20 minute challenge. I certainly enjoy looking at the end result.
ReplyDeleteVery nice leaf- are those pomegranate seeds? Love your shell too- saw it on the TMC. It is time for me to do some more of the tmc paintings- they are fun and great practice.
ReplyDeleteSheryl
Thank you for sharing these! I'm going to check out the tmc website.
ReplyDeletedoing really well with the TMCs.
ReplyDeleteBravo!
Bonne manière de se délier le poignet... et bien réussi, bravo !
ReplyDeleteBoth are enjoyable Teresa, looks like you truly are having fun with these short sessions!
ReplyDeleteI think the TMCs are great exercises...very doable for almost anyone who uses the excuse, "I don't have time..." You've got me thinking about other applications of the 20-minute time limit, too.
ReplyDeleteHey I love the leave with the seeds on it!! It looks great! Wow, almost 3D.
ReplyDeleteLike the shell also, makes me want to visit the beach!
Vicki

ReplyDeleteI see that Jan is onto them now.
A great way to keep lose and as you say stress free. Has to be good.
Keep up the great work Teresa.
You can see that you painted it with pleasure.
ReplyDeleteThe end result is great!
Suzanne
You are definitely honing your observational skills and in the process, painting faster because you're more selective in what to paint and what to leave out. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteLove the process and the freedom. It's staying away from the piece after the time is up that i struggle with!
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice and thanks for the inspiration to try it myself!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and art.
ReplyDeleteEven though I do mostly Collage I love to see watercolor, very nice work.
