Blue Girl finished!

Posting the finished version of Blue Girl. This was such an enjoyable portrait... I enjoyed every minute of it!

Had some recent [mis]adventures with Internet Explorer 8. After downloading the update to IE 8 I had no internet at all! This went on for several days and though I tried every trick I could think of (which wasn't very many) nothing worked. Since I couldn't download another browser (because no web pages would show up) my son burned Firefox onto a CD, we loaded it... and Ta Da! Internet! I never knew what I was missing... I like Firefox much better than IE.... so I guess that was the silver lining in my internet cloud.

  3. Hi Teresa. This is just a beautiful piece. I can see why you would enjoy it so much.
    A superb Job.

We had problems with IE8. Nev & I have both Firefox and Google chrome.
These both work well. We do at times switch from one to the other for certain uses.

  4. Wow Teresa, this finished portrait is really fabulous! Beautiful and captivating. You are demonstrating real mastery here with your cps! Congratulations!! I love your control, the evenness of your work across the piece and how you 'did the work'. I can spot shortcuts in cps a mile away and sister, you did the work! :-) It shows! You were very patient to get such lovely even skin tones. Great job on the hair too. Your range of values results in a 3D piece even as you kept the overall effect of the hat and top low key. A lovely interpretation. Again, congratulations, I love it! Well done. :-)

  5. Hi Teresa,
It has really come out good(obviously far better than mine). I was guessing why you have used very light shades for her hat. I am just asking as i don't have much knowledge of colors.
    BTW gr8 job done.

    Regards,
    gaurav
